Mário Shingaki is a certified accountant, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Accounting and Control, and is a lawyer. He teaches in MBA and specialization programs at Instituto Saint Paul and FGV-SP, specializing in Tax Management and Succession Planning. He serves as a fiscal councilor for both public and private companies. His practice focuses on Tax Law, with expertise in tax planning for legal entities and individuals, taxation of financial and capital markets, as well as asset protection and succession planning.

Experience:

Mário Shingaki is a founding partner at VBSO Advogados and has over two decades of experience in Tax Law. His practice includes tax planning for both legal entities and individuals, taxation of financial and capital markets, and private banking. He has extensive experience in asset protection and succession planning.

He has worked for five years as a tax planning manager at an Investment Bank, eight years in independent auditing, and twelve years as a tax consultant in a corporate law firm.

Mário Shingaki is a professor in various MBA and specialization programs at Instituto Saint Paul, FGV-SP, and Insper, teaching courses on tax management, succession planning, and taxation in financial and capital markets. He is also a member of the examination panel for certification programs (CFP) at the Brazilian Institute of Certification for Financial Professionals.
