Diogo Olm Ferreira is a partner in the Tax Law area at VBSO Advogados. He holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of São Paulo (USP) and specializes in International Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT). He has over ten years of experience advising companies on complex tax issues, from both a consultative and contentious perspective. He is notably involved in addressing tax issues specific to the electric sector (generation, commercialization, distribution, and transmission) and in the tax discipline of electricity procurement by companies across various industries. He also works on analyzing tax impacts for infrastructure projects and structuring financial investments, including the use of tokenization mechanisms.
