VBSO advises on CRA issue by Virgo

VBSO Advogados act as deal counsel on the structuring of the public offering of 10 agribusiness receivables certificates, in a single series, ranging from the 251st to the 260th issuances of Virgo Companhia de Securitização, under the automatic registration process for distribution pursuant of CVM 160.

The oferings were intermediated by XP Investimentos Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários. The CRAs were backed by credit rights from the agribusiness owed by Cocal Comércio Indústria Canaã Açúcar e Álcool. The total value of the issuances of the CRAs was BRL 500 million.

Cocal is a company in the sugar-energy sector with units in São Paulo. Its operations include the production of sugar, ethanol, electricity and other sugarcane by-products.

VBSO relied on partners José Alves Ribeiro Júnior and Marcelo Winter, lawyers Miguel Guardia Favinha, Felipe Facure de Vito Araújo, Raphael Martire Rocha, Bárbara Gonçalves, Giulia Esposito Barthe and Luis Gustavo de Almeida Salles.
